COVID-19 restrictions have made running a dental practice harder than ever.

In these challenging times, dentists need tools that make it easier for them to provide top quality patient care.

We’re happy to announce that CheckUp – our smart radiometer that helps dentists simplify the curing process and ensure their restorations last - is stepping up with its second major iteration.

With CheckUp 2.0, you can now set up multiple app users at your practice so your whole team can share dental curing light test results, identify issues, and calculate optimal curing times.

A new app interface also means that it’s easier than ever to manage all your curing lights, materials, and test results with just a few taps of your smartphone.

DDS and DA working in perfect harmony

Previously dental curing light testing with the CheckUp app was more of an individual pursuit. But now dentists can add their dental assistant to the app, or anyone else at their practice, and access the same information.

With everyone able to see each other’s tests results, you can be confident that your team is on the same page when it comes to light testing procedures and potential issues.

Find your materials, lights, and test results quicker than ever

The other big change is more instantly noticeable. CheckUp 2.0 introduces an updated user interface that helps dentists and assistants find everything they need in the app in record time.

We’ve introduced a fresh new side menu to complement our classic navigation bar, so you can get where you want to go in less taps.

You’ll also notice that we’ve added material data on irradiance requirements so you have more detailed curing information at your fingertips.

Other highlights of the updated interface include:

  • A streamlined “add test” functionality that matches the materials and lights pages to give you a more consistent and familiar experience

  • New warnings to bring curing risks to your attention

  • Light identifiers that match your stickers to make identifying the right dental curing light a breeze

If you’re already using CheckUp then you can enjoy all of these updates as part of your usual subscription. Simply update your app and re-open it to see the new interface and functionality.

If you aren’t using CheckUp, then now is the perfect time! CheckUp is more collaborative and easier to use than ever, so why not find out how it can help you cure with confidence and deliver better patient care.
