CheckUp 2.1: Consistent Curing and Quality Assurance Across Practices
Bluelight CheckUp is constantly evolving, and as it grows, so too does the types of dental team and organization that can use it.
With our latest release, CheckUp is now a curing solution not just for dentists, but for whole networks of dental clinics.
It’s now possible to add multiple users and multiple practices to CheckUp, so DSOs and multi-practice dental networks can collaborate across their clinics and achieve consistency in their light curing protocols.
CheckUp 2.1 also builds on the improved interface we introduced in our 2.0 update, to make setting up an account quicker and easier than ever, and to surface key curing information more prominently.
That means dentists can spend less time tapping through the app and more time treating patients.
Quality assurance for multi-practice dental networks
In CheckUp 2.0 we opened up light testing and curing insights to multiple users at a single clinic. We’ve now taken it a step further with new support for multiple practices.
This allows DSOs and multi-practice dental networks to add all of their clinics to their account and monitor light curing protocols and the performance of curing equipment across multiple locations.
This can all be done remotely through the app, offering a pandemic-friendly way to implement your quality assurance program and maintain consistency across your clinics.
The dentists working in those clinics benefit too, by getting access to a dedicated light curing resource that helps them deliver better patient outcomes.
Get testing faster
Now that we’ve made it possible to add multiple users and practices, it’s only right that we make it easier to get started with CheckUp.
We’ve done that by redesigning the checkUP sign up process to make it swifter and smoother than ever. We now also ask users to select their role on the team to help you manage who’s using the app.
Making the most important information the easiest to find
More improvements can be found on the tests list and test results screens, where we’ve refined the design to focus on the information that matters most to dentists.
The presentation of material curing times has been simplified and made more prominent, and issues relating to potential heat concerns stand out more so you’re prompted to take action.
If you’re ever unsure what an icon or display means then you can simply click on it in the app to open up a pop-up explanation.
One fun final addition is a new testing chime that sounds when a test is successfully completed, so you can test while keeping your eyes steady on your curing light, just as you would in a patient’s mouth.
